I would like to introduce myself as an experienced, eleven year General/ Business English freelance teacher with specialties in finance (especially loans and credit), law (attended law school), oil and gas (retired energy engineer), IT(former programmer), negotiation, telephoning, social skills and fluency practice, along with business correspondence, and experienced teaching all exam preparations.

I am presently a part-time, second-year contract teacher at Moscow’s large (2400 employees) Ernst and Young, a global professional services consultancy. Formerly, I lectured at the Griboedov Institute of Law and Economics(3 years) and taught GMAT at the Pericles American Business and Legal Education Project. I teach CPE exam preparation at the Lomonosv Moscow State University, Global Studies Department, preparing Russia’s future diplomats and international business men and women.

General and Business English has been taught at many companies over the years. Those notable and long-term include: Veneto Publishing Co. (5 years), Megafon and Intel Corp. (3 years) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), TNK-BP, Equant(now Orange), Maёrsk, Extra Bank, Boirion Pharmacueticals and Zyxel (2 years). Other notables: Gazprom, Alfa, Moscow and Raifeissen Banks, CISCO Systems, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Deloitte), Reuters ltd., DHL, L’Oreal and Otis Elevator.

Two technical degrees (BA Mathematics, MS Engineering) and one humanitarian (MA) were earned, along with a legal and IT studies, in the USA, plus, the award of the CELTA English teaching certificate from Cambridge University and nine years post-CELTA experience.

Methods to teach heretofore not well explained nor understood modality in semantic speech and for Modal Auxiliary Verbs, Verb Patterns and Articles grammar systems were developed. Special lessons and exercises will ultimately be published, entitled: Practical Systematic Fundamentals of English Grammar.

I am a former businessman and director of my real estate investment office, project engineer, retired military officer, community college teacher (math and engineering) and present English teacher and lecturer.

I have lived in the Former Soviet Union thirteen accumulated years since my first 1993 visit. I neither drink, nor smoke, nor am I under the influence of any narcotic drugs. I am medically fit and ready to teach. I'm always punctual and prepared for class. Students find my explanations useful and enlightening. I'm often asked to teach a follow-up course and tutor students privately.
