I am British and have 13 years experience teaching in Moscow.
My education is philological: more specifically contemporary linguistic theory and textual analysis. I also have a pedagogical qualification.
I speak fluent Russian and so have a full understanding of the issues that Russian speakers face with the English language: translation errors, unfamiliar concepts and the characteristics, and consequences, of the Russian educational tradition.
My specialities over recent years have been with journalism, Public Relations and marketing, but I have also taught extensively in finance, banking and the political sphere.
My previous clients include: Reuters, Millhouse, Itar Tass, Ria Novosti, Ernst and Young and Bank Moskvy.
