I am originally from the UK, and am a qualified lawyer with extensive experience of teaching English to Russians. My hours are very flexible, and I am happy to arrange lessons around your schedule.

I have experience of teaching English to a wide variety of Russian nationals, from business and legal English to senior management at board level, entrepreneurs, to lawyers (and other professionals), through to general English to adults, teenagers and young children.

For clients wishing to perfect their business and/or legal English, I can offer over 12 years experience working in international law firms and financial organizations, and have a particular expertise in international financial law, investments, stock markets, as well a sound knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.

I can also assist clients in preparing business pitches and presentations, in addition to practicing for interviews, and adding the ‘finishing touches’ to CVs. I am happy to be as flexible as the client wants in terms of structuring a course, whilst at the same time ensuring all of the major aspects of English grammar are followed.

My primary method of teaching is through the communicative approach, where the focus is on learning through speaking. I also actively encourage students to bring learning aids to the lesson - something which is of interest to them, maybe something connected to their work, or perhaps a hobby of theirs – this can be anything from a newspaper cutting, to a film/TV programme or a book .

Whilst I also use text books as a base, my key aim is to ensure a bespoke and personalized English language course, and to enable each individual student to maximize their time with me as constructively as possible.
