Hello!
My name is Robert, I’m from the State of Florida (America). I first came to Moscow, Russia in 2002 as a mentor for children at a Russian orphanage and as a volunteer English teacher at various Russian public schools. (This is where I began my work as a teacher) After my return to America I decided to take the TEFL course and to continue my pursuit of becoming an English teacher in Russia.
I returned in 2004 and began my work as a main English Teacher for Linia Plus and as a Private teacher of adults with various firms such as “MDM Bank”, “Rosno”, “Microsoft”, etc. I have separated my teaching experience into two different categories one for adults and children they are listed below.

My experience with adults:
I have a lot of experience teaching in group classes as well as individuals. I’ve taught group classes for many years in various small “language centers” as well as corporate classes for firms such as “Rosno” and “MDM Bank” and now I’ve started my own group classes near Metros Mendelevskaya and Novoslobodskaya where I rent my own classroom. My teaching methods vary depending on the need for my class; I’ve taught Business English, Financial English, Communicative English, and General English. As for individual classes I’ve taught for many years as well alongside with my class teaching. With individuals I’ve taught people from “Clifford Chance”, “Microsoft”, private entrepreneurs, The Russian Orthodox Church of the “Blessed Father John”, “Mars”, an Asst. to the State Duma, Top Management of “MDM Bank” and “Sperbank” and many others.

My experience with children:
My work with children started as a mentor/tutor for children in America than in Russia part of my job was to help them with their schooling. After returning to Russia I began to teacher in various schools School #1411, The School of Arts, ATI The orphanage/boarding school I worked at and had to help the kids with all daily activities. Beyond these I’ve worked with many children individually as well as working in “Linia Plus” and “Little Angels” kindergartens. In Linia Plus I worked as an English teacher for all children (from 2-15 years old), and at Little Angels I worked as the main teacher of the “Reception” group (aged 4-7 years old). At least 2 of my students passed the exams and will be joining a/the British School! My work entitled preparing lesson plans, reading/writing/speaking and grammar in English, taking care of their safety, making sure they ate well, teaching manners, and how to live peacefully among others.
