Hello there, as my name suggests I'm Turkish but I was born and brought up in the UK. Originally, I'm from London, but currently reside in Essex. I have also lived and studied in Istanbul (Turkey) for a while before setting off to Russia.
I possess a BA in English Language and Literature, with High Honors (First Class Honours), specializing in Modern and Contemporary Fiction (Novel genre), Literary Theory and Criticism (Structuralism, Poststructuralism, Postmodernism, Postcolonialism) and various other genres as in poetry and drama.
I have three years of teaching experience as an assistant lecturer at a private language institution (not in Moscow though - just yet!) and can help students from intermediate, upper-intermediate, and advanced levels (including TOEFL level). The stress will be on the communicative methods of teaching (as opposed to the classical rigid grammar-oriented methodology) which include speaking and listening lectures, literary (short stories, poems, plays of masters of these literary genres) lectures, and so forth.
